• It as announced that Gary won an annual writing award from Lone Star College for the text of Backroads of the Texas Hill Country.
   
• Kathy finished her term as board member and Past-President of  North American Nature Photography Association. 

• Texas Highways September 2007 cover was an image taken by Kathy on Cherry Creek in the Texas Hill Country.
